Bio
Work with meI'm Kaan Demir, a software developer in Istanbul, a student at 42 İstanbul, and the founder of Kaahn Technology and Inscribi. Since September 2026 I've also been working as a software developer at Walther Kranz, a PR agency, where I build their media-monitoring platform and look after their servers. These days AI agents are at the center of my work: I build software with Claude Code and Codex and set up agents that take over workflows, currently mostly for Walther Kranz.
I started with freelance video editing in 2021, then joined CodeAd, first as an intern for two months and then for about a year as a frontend developer, learning React, Python, design and marketing on real projects. In 2023 I shipped two products end to end: Hatmedecem, a web app that helps friends complete a Qur'an reading together, built in two weeks, and Yeriz, a food ordering platform I built in two months; I later sold most of my stake.
After frontend work at arbeit.studio, I started Kaahn in 2024 to build web platforms for companies, and spent a few months building multi-agent workflow prototypes at +90 Ventures along the way. Through Kaahn I built platforms for Kar Porselen, Adler Savunma and Dönmez Hukuk on MorCMS, my reusable Payload CMS base. Alongside it I built Inscribi, an AI video studio that runs on a graph-based engine I wrote.
At 42 İstanbul I work in C on UNIX: a shell, multithreaded programs and a lot of peer review. With friends there I co-founded the 42 İstanbul Freelance Club (42freelance) to connect student developers with real projects. Our Iftar & Vibe Coding night with LÖSEV brought 85 developers together and ended with 13 projects for the foundation. On the hackathon side, I won Best UX at Sui HackFest and my team placed third at Monad Blitz Istanbul.
Outside of client work, I joined the board of Gençlik Divanı, a youth think tank, in 2022 and built its website. Technology should serve people and their values, not the other way around. That's the standard I try to hold every project to.
