AirTransit
The project
AirTransit is a small file-sharing tool built with Python's standard library. The sender uploads a file to Catbox over HTTPS; the recipient downloads it using the shared short code.
The send command checks that the source file exists and enforces a local upload limit of 200 MiB. It displays the returned download URL and a short code derived from that address. If a download would overwrite an existing local file, the tool asks first.
The reviewed version reads the entire file into memory rather than streaming it. It also sends the download URL to a separate service to display a QR code in the terminal. The storage provider and the QR service are therefore both part of the sharing data flow.
The file passes through external storage instead of travelling directly between the two devices. This version does not provide recipient authentication or end-to-end encryption. Availability on every network and a particular file-retention period are not guarantees made by the application.
